ExtraMile is seeking a well-qualified and experienced web developer to join its expert team. The company will consider applicants who wish to work remotely, up to a distance of 70 miles from its Stone office. Remote candidates wishing to consider this position should know that attendance at the office would be required at least once per week.

Key responsibilities of the position:

  • Receive initial brief from designer to establish design and technical parameters for working structure
  • Develop site template in line with budget and brief, test to QA criteria
  • Hosting and domain name validation, pre-live QA, uploading of site, Go live and post-Live QA
  • React promptly to website bugs, additional feature requests, server and security issues
  • On-going research to improve efficiency and quality of projects
  • Liaison with clients, designers and Search engine marketing team, coordinate projects through from development to go-live
  • Remain current with new technologies to ensure business stays ahead
  • Perform QA duties on various sites
  • Improve web development processes, strategies and QA procedures
  • Provide support to clients
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Implement SEO recommendations

Qualifications & Training


  • IT or Web related Degree or previous web developer experience
  • Previous Agency experience


  • Any Web Development training
