Key responsibilities of the position:

  • Work closely with our creative team producing and managing creative design projects
  • Help develop businesses through design across multiple channels, offline and online
  • Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver projects of the highest quality
  • Produce creative design concepts, pitch to key stakeholders and work with the Projects and Key Accounts Manager to seek client approval
  • Ensure all design work is created to budget, schedule, brief and with a strong drive towards innovation and creativity
  • Keep up to date with digital design trends and culture, attend events and engage with
    the wider creative community
  • Finalise approved design work, complete development handover for web projects and conduct pre-print QAs
  • Liaise with external suppliers, such as printers, on the production and completion of creative design projects
  • Work with a range of media and design software

Qualifications & Training

Essential

  • 2 years design related experience in digital
  • Educated to degree level

Desirable

  • Any UX-related training and/or web development training

Experience

Essential

  • Marketing/design agency experience
  • An exceptional portfolio showcasing work in a multitude of disciplines
  • Experience creating cross-platform design work, such as print design, marketing collateral, web/digital design, etc.
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first, responsive design
  • Proven understanding of design principles

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of the UX design principles
  • Industry experience in the field of UX/UI design
  • Experience with wireframes and prototyping
  • Developing user journeys, storyboards, personas and site maps

Product Knowledge

Essential

  • Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using Sketch
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS and how this impacts on design

Desirable

  • Understanding and experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Experience using a Mac
  • Experience using design and prototyping tools such as InVision, Figma and Adobe XD
  • Experience with video editing, motion or After Effects skills
