As MD, I run the business. My main aim is to ensure this is done legally. Keeping up with business and employment law ensures my hairdresser is employed on a monthly basis, to cover the ever increasing grey hairs. Keeping the business solvent is also high on my agenda. I consider time spent employing the right people and retaining them, as time well spent, as I want us to be an employer of choice in the West Midlands.

I bring determination and a vision to the company, one of enthusiasm and commitment, which I hope rubs off on to others. I bring a quality which has been borne out in our ISO 9001 accreditation, which I have wanted to achieve for many years. Apparently I have strange eyes which have the ability to see half a pixel error, which really helps with our "eye for detail" claim.

My aspirations for the business are to help with its growth and make it the success I believe it can be. For me, I'd like to be a better person and perhaps become patient one day!

I'm hard working and dedicated to the business. I always believe I can do better (mainly because that's what my school reports always said). However, I genuinely want to always do better.  I'm proud of the fact that I've got where I am without any formal qualification though sometimes wonder what I could have been if I had been an academic. I don't suffer fools gladly, plus I get impatient with excuses and laziness.

In my spare time, I love being with my bloke or my family and close friends, eating, drinking, walking, talking.  A lot of my spare time is currently taken up with training for the Kilimanjaro challenge I'm doing in September 2012 for our chosen charity, The Donna Louise Children's Hospice.

I love sunny days, I loathe dishonesty. Before I die, I'd love to see "my baby" move on to adulthood with someone else at the helm. My perfect day off work would involve a major lie in, a long walk, a liquid lunch at the local, an afternoon sleep in a meadow next to a babbling brook, once home a bath with bubbles up to my chin with a bottle of bubbles to accompany it with. Oh and all topped off with my bloke being in attendance!
