What EFC Fencing needed

EFC Fencing is a Staffordshire-based fencing company that specialises in all things surrounding houses, gardens, fields, motorways and driveways. They also do wooden and metal gates, all of which we incorporated into the website. They needed a fully functioning ecommerce website, that contained their entire catalogue, to develop the Internet market, converge the traffic from two existing sites for customers ordering in bulk or just single items. They also wanted maintenance, so that whenever a new product range was released, we were there to add it to the site.

What ExtraMile proposed

We outlined that navigation was key for this site. Having such a vast product range, EFC Fencing was going to be a very large website, so we categorised these products into bite sized categories, then design the site around them. We proposed a state of the art ecommerce system, in which customers can purchase these products online, using various different payment methods.

How ExtraMile implemented the solution

ExtraMile used the latest in Content Management Software to be able to add all the products to the site. We made sure every product was added, every image was uploaded and verified that the details were correct - this is an on-going process. We also integrated some search engine optimisation for each category of products so that EFC fencing have become the leading competitor on some of their specialist products from Google alone.

EFC have benefited from having a stronger online presence and their business has obtained a string of new customers. We are constantly maintaining and improving their site and adding new products based on their new seasonal ranges - all good business for years to come, based on a strong service offering and a high standard of quality.
