What Eccleshall Parish Council needed
The Parish Council wanted a website that they were able to fully maintain, as well as a new brand to bring them into the 21st century, alongside many other city, town and parish councils.
What ExtraMile proposed
We laid out a concise structure of how to make the site more informative for first users and parish members. We also proposed using some letter forms alongside their coat of arms, to allow people to recognise who they are.
How ExtraMile implemented the solution
We worked with the members of the council to produce what they saw as a friendly and inviting website, testing out 3 designs and overall deciding on one option which we took through to development stage. We created news feeds, features for adding documentation to the website, and also a ticker across the top of the site for the very latest news that is easily updated by the council.
The effect on the Eccleshall Pariah Council
Eccleshall Parish Council have had some amazing feedback for the site, and now feel it is far easier to maintain than their previous site, and far better on the eye.
