What Black’s Menswear needed
We had developed Black’s Menswear’s new website and they felt that our email marketing would be a powerful addition to their marketing strategy. They wanted a smart template that would show off their fashionable clothing and high profile brands.
What ExtraMile proposed
We proposed a simple e-shot that would only feature a few products (or categories of products). This would keep the message simple and avoid diluting it. This approach also allowed for larger imagery and simple calls to action.
How ExtraMile implemented the solution
We took the design we had created for the website and optimised it for email marketing. Rather than simple text calls to action we made large buttons that catch the eye. By creating the slashed effect for the top article it broke up the mail and stopped it being stuffy and formulaic.
The effect on Black’s Menswear’s business
Black’s Menswear use their email marketing to let customers know of impending sales and exciting news in their world. Fashion is a constantly changing environment and they find that by using email they can reach their customers quickly and easily. They love the fact that they can call up on a Monday and an email can be sent within a short timescale.
